Saree Not Saree: India 2013

It's funny how time and distance change you, the roads you take don't always lead you home.

In the wake of yesterdays holiday, today was equally as lazy. I welcomed the day around lunch and only had class for a little over an hour. The rest of the day was spent in yoga and doing P90X (hello Indian-abs). Although I cannot understand much of the chanting in yoga, it reminds me of the Hebrew chanting sounds during Shabbat services. I listen contently as the sound fills my ears relaxing every part of my body. As the instructor says, you should relax from your eyeballs to your armpits–aka every nook and cranny of your body should be consciously relaxed.
