Saree Not Saree: India 2013

It's funny how time and distance change you, the roads you take don't always lead you home.

Chai on Chai on Chai

Sunday was spent at my Hindi teacher, Bhavani’s, home. I had been there before for the festival Sanskranti, but just a reminder that she has an adorable four year old daughter named Tanvi (although Priya and Montana might not agree). She invited us to learn to cook some traditional foods, including chai which we drink multiple times a day. It was so nice to be in a home again, even if just for the afternoon. The landlords of the apartment building own tow goats so the following pictures are of those crazy fellas.
