Saree Not Saree: India 2013

It's funny how time and distance change you, the roads you take don't always lead you home.



Above is an Indian woman stirring the milk that comes from sugar cane. This is boiled then cooled in molds to create a super sweet sugar that is used widely in Indian desserts. We went to this factory located a little outside of Mysore, where sugar cane is one of the cash crops that grows widely in the region.
